The Pampered Chef ® Athenian Spinach Pastry Rounds Recipe

| 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper |
| 1 package (9 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained |
| 1/2 cup light mayonnaise |
| 1 package (4 ounces) crumbled feta cheese |
| 1 garlic clove, pressed |
| 1 package (8 ounces) reduced-fat crescent rolls |
| 1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated fresh Parmesan cheese | |
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Dice bell pepper using Chef's Knife. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine bell pepper, spinach, mayonnaise, feta cheese and garlic pressed with Garlic Press; mix well using Classic Scraper.
- Remove crescent dough from package; do not unroll. Thinly slice dough into 20 rounds using Serrated Bread Knife. Arrange evenly on Large Round Stone; flatten lightly using lightly floured Baker's Roller®. Using Medium Scoop, top each round of dough with one level scoop of spinach mixture; flatten lightly. Grate Parmesan cheese over appetizers using Deluxe Cheese Grater. Bake 22-24 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove from oven; serve warm using Mini-Serving Spatula.

Cook's Tip: To easily cut the chilled crescent dough into 20 slices, first cut the roll into fourths. Then, cut each portion of dough into five equal slices.
