Rustic Parmesan Pita Chips
Recipe

 3 whole wheat pita pocket bread rounds 
 1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated fresh Parmesan cheese 
 1 teaspoon Pantry Italian Seasoning Mix 
 1 garlic clove, pressed 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Split each pita pocket in half horizontally; cut each round into eight wedges using Pizza Cutter. Grate Parmesan cheese into Small Batter Bowl using Deluxe Cheese Grater. Add seasoning mix and garlic pressed with Garlic Press; mix well. Arrange pita wedges in a single layer on Large Round Stone; sprinkle evenly with cheese mixture.

  2. Bake 14-17 minutes or until chips are lightly browned and crisp. Remove from oven; cool completely.

Yield: 48 pita chips (16 servings or 24 sample servings)

Cook's Tip: When purchasing pita bread, be sure to buy pita bread rounds that have pockets so they can be split in half.
